ABOUT US

We are environmentally conscious citizens of Ajax-Pickering and the wider Durham area who are deeply concerned about overzealous and unscrupulous development of natural and protected areas in our cities, towns, and region. 

OUR OBJECTIVES

1.

To stop development of the Duffin's Creek wetlands by Durham Live.

2.

To prevent development of North Pickering for an airport or any development that would destroy valuable farmland.

3.

To preserve natural areas in the Ajax-Pickering area and protect them from unscrupulous development.

4.

To stand with Indigenous Peoples in defending their Land Rights and Treaties.

5.

To prevent development of Pickering's and Ajax's waterfront.

6.

To take political action as required to protect the natural areas in Ajax-Pickering.

7.

Push back against the government's attempt to undermine Conservation Authorities.
